Quinte Mini Con is introducing a new game for the fans of horror, memes, and Creepypasta. In the last couple of years we have been lacking something to cover these, and we think we found what the convention was missing.
What is Slender: The Eight Pages?
Slender is a game inspired by the phenomenon that is Slenderman, this exceedingly tall being with long arms that follows children. Slenderman began with an online contest for doctored photos to create something creepy on the ever popular Creepypasta.
In the online game of Slender (in all of it's incarnations) you are playing as a camper. All you have is yourself and a flashlight, to walk around this creepy forest at night and find these eight different pages. The goal? Avoid being caught by Slenderman.
How do you play QMC's rendition of Slender: The Eight Pages?
Playing our little game is very simple. Unfortunately we have no Slenderman to hunt you down, as it will be very unclear as to who is playing the game until the end of the convention. But here is how you do it.
The eight pages from the game will be scattered across the event. Your goal is to find them all. To provide evidence that you have found all eight pages you must take pictures of the pages when you find them. If you are one who is prone to taking too many photos to keep track of 8 photos on your camera or phone, write down where you found the page, and what page it was.

Now, here's where the game gets a little more interesting.
The locations of the pages are going to change between Saturday and Sunday.
If you want to play a weekend long game for yourself, you can submit your findings on Sunday only. Make sure that if you play both days for one game, that you write down what day you found which pages.
You can double your chances at winning by playing both days. Find all 8 pages in both of their locations and you can win twice.
Prizes and how to show you found the pages to be announced.
