Tournament Entry Fee - $10
50% of entry fee to be donated to the Quinte Humane Society, 50% reserved for prize pool
Prizes
First place: 50% of prize pool (+$50 Prize Bonus with minimum of 16 entrants!)
Second place: 30% of prize pool (+Street Fighter World Warrior Encyclopedia with minimum of 16 entrants)
Third place: 20% of prize pool
Additional prizes may be announced at Quinte Mini Con with good attendance.
Tournament will be played on Playstation 4 - Ultra Street Fighter 4 - latest update patches applied.
You may bring your own controller - please note that USF4 is backwards compatible with PS3 fightstick controllers. If you don't bring your own controller (or borrow one at the venue) you will be provided a standard DualShock 4 PS4 Controller to use.
Before each tournament match, players will have an opportunity to perform a button check.
Tournament match format will be the following:
99 second rounds
2/3 Rounds
Default Handicap
Random stage select will be used
All characters and costumes are allowed.
Winner's character lock: During a match, the winner of the previous game must keep the same character (but may select a different Ultra combo)
Double Elimination Bracket, a player must win 2/3 games to win a match.
3/5 games in Winner's Finals, Loser's Finals and Grand Finals.
